HTC Hero Android 2.1 update pushed back until June for Europe.

Well it’s happened again, another delay to the oft delayed Android 2.1 Hero update.
Techradar have reported on a statement made by HTC stating that the update won’t be rolled out until Early June.
HTC will be providing a free update to Éclair for European HTC Hero variants. Starting in June,
Whilst Legend and Desire owners play with their Android 2.1 touting phones, Hero owners are stuck with Android 1.5 which in turn means no access to apps like Google Navigation and Google Goggles.
I think HTC should try to muster up a Sense UI free rom for people desperate to get onto the Android 2.1 bandwagon.

HTC have uploaded a video of their recently announced HTC Desire.
Take a first look at HTC Desire, the superphone you have been waiting for. The 3.7-inch AMOLED display presents you with an unmatched viewing experience. The 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor delivers superfast web browsing and amazing multimedia. All of this power is wrapped up with the most intuitive user experience – HTC Sense.
Spec wise, very similar to the Nexus One but this time running HTC Sense UI over Android 2.1 which makes for one stunning handset!
Engadget post HTC Legend shots.
by Chaz on Feb.08, 2010, under Android, Smartphones
Engadget have posted some shots of the HTC Legend. From what the pictures show, the phone is aluminium with some plastic parts on the rear of the handset and an LED flash alongside the camera. Sense UI is present along with an icon for an FM Radio icon on the homescreen. Alltogether this looks to be a nice looking handset (in my opinion).
